I am part of a team working on a GRDC funded project addressing ‘Subsoil Constraints – Understanding and Management’ within DPIRD’s Soil Productivity program. I’ve been based at Merredin with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) since April 2004. I have a broad understanding of soils, with an emphasis on soil constraints and plant relations and have experience in and using field and laboratory equipment (such as soil moisture probes, EM38, soil penetrometer, soil moisture sensor, ICP-MS, XRFS, LECO, AA, data loggers, pressure plates, etc.).
