RESEARCH INTERESTS & EXPERTISE
My research focuses on soil microbiology and the importance of plant-microorganism interactions in agricultural systems. I have a strong interest in using my research to create practical tools and guidelines for growers and industry to adopt new ideas and improve their on-ground outcomes. I have expertise in soil fungal ecology, soil organic matter, and nutrient cycling. I also have skills in sampling, processing and analysing soil microbiota data and software development. I enjoy presenting my research to those who will find it useful, such as grower groups and collaborating with other researchers, and particularly students.
