My role

I support field and laboratory research across soil science and crop nutrition projects at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD).

I assist in conducting routine experiments, surveys, and sample collection, as well as preparing samples for quality testing. I help ensure the accuracy of research data, maintain agricultural and lab equipment, and contribute to the operational delivery of research trials.

I also support communication and stakeholder engagement through field days, demonstrations, and technical enquiries.

My background

I have a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience in both research and stakeholder engagement. Before joining the department, I served as Executive Officer at Ravensthorpe Agricultural Initiative Network (RAIN), where I led regional development initiatives, coordinated grant programs, and facilitated collaboration among growers and community groups.
