My role

I’m a postdoctoral research fellow with the Bioplastics Innovation Hub working on the SMART SPRAYS project. My research focuses on the end-of-life fate of plastic products, with a particular emphasis on assessing the environmental and ecotoxicological impacts associated with their degradation and introduction into terrestrial ecosystems.

My background

Originally from the UK, I did my undergrad and Master of Chemistry at the University of East Anglia. I relocated to Perth to do my PhD in Environmental Chemistry at Murdoch University under the Bioplastics Innovation Hub. My research focused on agricultural plastic degradation in soil under current WA framing practices.
