Meet Bridget, our new Regional Soil Coordinator
Bridget will be based at SoilsWest at Murdoch University and will work with projects under the National Soil Strategy and initiatives supporting growers with practical tools and information needed to protect and improve our soils. She will also help create stronger links between industry, scientists, and other stakeholders.
Bridget grew up on a mixed sheep and cropping farm, south-east of Perth in Western Australia and has previously worked as an environmental consultant, land rehabilitation and with the CSBP Fertilisers Field Research Team. As part of a broader National Smarter Soils Community of Practice, she will also gain the opportunity to highlight gaps in knowledge and priorities for work in soil management for Western Australia.
