Late September cut-off for Grains Research Update EOIs
EXPRESSIONS of interest to present papers at the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) Updates are open until September 28.
The 2027 GRDC Grains Research Update – Perth will be held on February 22 and 23 at Optus Stadium.
The event is a highlight of the grains industry calendar and includes the latest research, technology, market development and innovations.
The EOI opportunity also includes oral presentations for regional Grains Research Updates in Albany, Geraldton, Esperance and Kwinana (East and West).
The website for program coordinator Grains Industry Association of Western Australia (GIWA) reads that, “Presenters/authors will be selected on the basis of the importance of the topic to WA grain growers, with highest priority given to important research or advice that can be applied by growers in the coming season.”
New researchers
The GRDC Grains Research Update – Perth will again include five to 10-minute slots for presentation of research undertaken by new and early career researchers, including postdocs, PhD students who are close to finishing, and early career scientists.
Candidates must not have presented at a Grains Research Update before.
