My role

I am a research scientist currently working on the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC)’s Soil Water and Nutrition Project.

My role is to assist growers with their adoption of soil management practices by providing the latest technical information and support to apply new technologies on-farm to increase profitability.

My background

I have worked in the field of agricultural research and extension with DPIRD since 2000. During that time I have worked across the state in various roles for DPIRD, local grower groups and agricultural consultants.

Working on GRDC-supported soil management projects including controlled traffic farming, precision agriculture and soil amelioration, I have developed strong networks across Australia to provide the latest information to growers in the form of development and extension activities with applied science.
