Early bird rates end soon for SSA National Conference
PLANNING on attending the 2026 Soil Science Australia National Conference in Western Australia? Early bird registration closes on July 31!
Early bird fees are $990 for Soil Science Australia members and $1200 for non-members. Those fees will bump up to $1100 and $1300 from August.
SoilsWest is sponsoring the conference, which will be held from November 1-5 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Boorloo (Perth).
The theme of the 2026 conference is ‘Common Ground: Soils for the Anthropocene’.
The conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for attendees to gain a better understanding of a range of topics relevant to soil, including stewardship and storytelling, policy, planning and governance, processes and mechanisms, land management in agriculture, mining and conservation.
There will also be opportunities for networking and relationship-building at social functions, and for hands-on experience during field tours.
The Soil Science Australia National Conference follows the association’s Australian Soil Judging Competition, which will be held in the Mandurah region from October 29-31.
